You know the model. You can name the defense, the transference, the cycle. None of that makes you any less human, and it can quietly make it harder to let someone work with you, because part of you is always watching the work.
I believe clinicians need their own care, not as a box to check, but as a practice. I’ve been in my own psychoanalysis for seven years, every week, and it has shaped everything about how I sit with other people. I don’t ask you to go anywhere I’m not still going myself.
With me you can put the clinician down. You don’t have to translate, simplify, or manage the frame. You can use the language you actually think in, and stop performing competence long enough to say the things you don’t say to colleagues, supervisors, or your own clients.
My orientation is psychodynamic and relational, and I hold confidentiality between clinicians with real seriousness. This is your therapy, not consultation, and not supervision.
